We train from a behavioural perspective ensuring that your puppy is kept safe and learns through positive associations. We do not use force as we are a FORCE-FREE organization that utilises science based techniques to train. We focus on building an optimistic and confident puppy.
Our main focus in our class is socialization, body language, consent to play and play styles, proprioception, desensitization, problem solving abilities and confidence building. Some of the topics we discuss are house training, digging, puppy biting, destructive chewing, appropriate toys, management and enrichment.
We teach puppies and guardians how to read body language, problem solve the environment and help build confidence in our puppies. Training: sit, stay, “leave it”, “let’s go” & recall.
As part of our programme, we do one home visit. We provide this home visit so that we can address any problems you may be experiencing at home. This could be house training, puppy chewing, nipping and biting, appropriate play, etc.
This class is a Saturday morning class from 8am-9am (Summer) and 9am-10am (Winter). The lessons are 1 hour each and run consecutively over a six week period.
Wednesday morning puppy outings for puppies that have had their 3rd vaccination. The venue changes weekly.
Payment upfront, prior to home visit and first lesson.

Taking the show on the road - "Street Smarts". We take the show on the road and train at different locations. This is normally the age where our adolescent dogs are "brain farting". The hormonal fluctuations will start to impact on their behaviour and they're finding the environment way more exciting than you!
